Hand-Poured in London using only 100% Natural Essential Oils for the Clean Burn
Lime, grapefruit, bitter orange and cypress. Sharp, fresh, a little woody at the bottom. The candle for kitchens, sluggish mornings, post-cooking when the room needs a clean reset. Hand-poured in London. Silk & Fire was established in Belgravia, where Liz made her first batch.
The scent
Lime and grapefruit lead. Sharp, juicy, properly citrus. Bitter orange adds a slightly spicy edge that stops the blend from feeling thin. Cypress sits underneath, dry and woody, giving the whole thing somewhere to land. Less "cleaning product", more "just opened a window".

When to light it
Sunday morning kitchens. The home office on a slow start. After cooking when you want the cooking smell gone. Anytime the room could use a sharp, clean lift.
Burn care
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn. On the very first burn, give it the time it needs (around 2 hours) so the wax pool reaches the edge of the glass. That stops it from tunnelling on later burns. Always burn within sight, away from drafts, kids and pets.
FAQ
How sharp is the citrus?
Properly sharp. It's grapefruit and lime forward. The cypress base softens it just enough so it doesn't feel like a cleaning product.
Will it scent a whole room?
Yes, comfortably for a normal living room or kitchen (up to 25 m² or so). For larger open-plan spaces, a pair works much better than one.

Does it contain paraffin or synthetic fragrance?
No to both. The wax is a plant-based coconut and rapeseed blend, and the scent comes from natural essential oils only.
