The scent
Black pepper and ginger open with a gentle warmth. Spicy, but never harsh. Neroli sits in the heart, soft and floral with a hint of honey. Nutmeg holds the base, earthy and slightly sweet. The whole blend lingers low and long, which is what you want from a candle like this.

When to light it
Date night. Dinner for two. The end of a long week with the sofa, a glass of something, and the volume turned right down.
Burn care
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn. On the very first burn, give it the time it needs (around 2 hours) so the wax pool reaches the edge of the glass. That stops it from tunnelling on later burns. Always burn within sight, away from drafts, kids and pets.
FAQ
How strong is the scent?
Medium-warm. The spice has presence, but the neroli softens it. It scents the room rather than dominating it.
Will it scent a whole room?
Yes, comfortably for a normal living room or bedroom (up to 25 m² or so). For larger open-plan spaces, a pair works much better than one.

Does it contain paraffin or synthetic fragrance?
No to both. The wax is a plant-based coconut and rapeseed blend, and the scent comes from natural essential oils only.
